The story behind DataLens.Tools
Hi, I’m a biotechnologist working at the interface of biology and data analysis, with over 14 years of experience in German academia. Throughout my research journey, I often found myself spending more time wrangling with messy datasets, clunky analysis workflows, and incompatible tools than actually gaining insights from my experiments.
That experience—equal parts frustrating and eye-opening—planted the seed for DataLens.Tools.
DataLens.Tools is a remote-first platform, co-developed across Germany and India, born out of real-life research struggles. Together with my family-based team in India, we’ve built this toolkit to bridge the gap between life sciences and data science.
Our mission is to empower researchers—especially those from non-technical backgrounds—with intuitive, powerful tools for analyzing biological data, whether it’s fluorescence microscopy, wing kinematics, or spreadsheet chaos.
We’re committed to making data analysis not just easier—but more accessible and enjoyable for life scientists around the world.
Let’s make data analysis easier, together.
